About the Role A Lead Guide is responsible for leading a studio of 12-15 students, designing and facilitating learning experiences, and building a strong, values-driven culture. This role blends teaching, coaching, and leadership. You will guide students academically and personally and be supported by an Assistant or Apprentice Guide. We are looking for an experienced K/1st grade teacher to be the Lead Guide in our studio. This position would start in August 2026. What You'll Do Lead a studio of 12-15 students through daily learning experiences Track student progress using academic data and deliver 1:1 coaching / instruction Design and prepare learning experiences (projects, writing, discussions, exhibitions, events) Communicate regularly with families about student progress and key events Build a strong studio culture focused on ownership, respect, and accountability What Makes This Role Different Work in a mission-driven school with highly engaged families Be part of a small, close-knit team with strong culture Gain hands-on experience in an innovative, student-centered model Qualifications Degree in Elementary Education or related field (child development, early childhood education, etc.) 3-5+ years of teaching experience with K/1st grade students Strong reliability, organization, and attention to detail As a Christian school, candidates must be able to sign the Nicene Creed.
