Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Installer to spearhead our installation projects and lead a team of skilled technicians. This pivotal role involves overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems across commercial and residential properties. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality service. As a leader in our team, you will ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards, driving customer satisfaction and operational excellence. Duties Lead and coordinate HVAC installation projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to schematics, design specifications, and safety protocols Supervise and mentor a team of installers and service technicians, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment Interpret HVAC schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately install systems such as air conditioning units, refrigeration equipment, boilers, and ammonia refrigeration systems Perform precise mechanical work including welding, piping, plumbing connections, and equipment repair to ensure optimal system performance Conduct field service tasks such as troubleshooting HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) issues using tools like ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment Ensure all installations comply with local codes, safety standards, and company policies Maintain detailed documentation of project progress, service reports, schematics updates, and maintenance logs Experience Proven experience in HVAC installation or service technician roles with a strong background in mechanical systems Demonstrated leadership experience as a lead installer or supervisor in HVAC/R environments Extensive knowledge of HVAC design principles, schematics interpretation, refrigeration systems including ammonia refrigeration setups Hands-on experience with appliance repair, property maintenance, boiler operation, and equipment repair Familiarity with field service operations involving air conditioning units and complex mechanical systems Skilled in welding techniques and mechanical troubleshooting using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Additional certifications such as HVAC/R licenses or specialized training in refrigeration or boiler systems are highly desirable Join us to lead innovative HVAC projects that make a real difference!
