Job Description
About Big Brother AC:
Most HVAC companies in North Texas run their technicians into the ground. They demand 6 to 8 calls a day, push high-pressure sales quotas for full-system replacements, and waste your time on low-margin coil cleanings and "tune-ups." We are doing things differently. Big Brother AC is a well-funded, aggressively scaling operation focused entirely on one thing: high-quality, break/fix repairs. We use cutting-edge, automated AI lead generation to keep our schedule full of pre-qualified emergency repair calls. No gimmicks, no sales pressure, and no routine cleanings. The Opportunity:
We Aren't Looking for an Employee. We Want a Partner. We are seeking an active Texas Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Contractor License (TACL) holder to join us as a Managing Partner and Lead Technician or TACL Partner. Instead of a standard W-2 grind, we are offering a 20% vested ownership stake in the company. We bring the seed capital, the service van, the AI software, and the marketing machine. You bring the license, the technical expertise, and the operational oversight in the field. What Your Day Looks Like:
Quality Over Quantity:
A strict cap of 3 to 4 calls per day. Take the time to properly diagnose, fix the issue, and provide top-tier customer service without rushing to the next call.Pure Repairs:
You will focus entirely on troubleshooting, replacing components (compressors, motors, capacitors), and getting systems back online. Zero "Selling": Because you are an owner, you fix what is broken. You will never be forced to sell a new system to a family that just needs a $200 repair.Compliance Oversight:
As the TACL holder, you will ensure our field operations, diagnostics, and repairs meet all TDLR standards. The Compensation & Equity Structure:
This role is built for a technician who wants the massive upside of business ownership without having to risk their own life savings to start a company from scratch.Guaranteed Base Draw:
$45,000/year (paid bi-weekly) to ensure your basic living expenses are comfortably covered while we scale. 20%Profit Distribution:
As a 20% owner, you receive 20% of the company's net operating income. Based on our Year 1 target of 20 jobs per week, your profit distributions are projected at $53,000+ annually, putting your total Year 1 target compensation at roughly $98,000+ .True Ownership:
Your 20% equity stake grows in value as the company grows. Year 2 and 3: You move into a management roll and oversee a team of techsRequirements:
Active TACL:
You must hold a valid Texas Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Contractor License to qualify the business.Elite Diagnostic Skills:
5+ years of hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing residential HVAC systems. An Ownership Mindset:
You treat the inventory, the van, and the customers like they are your own—because they will be. Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check. Ready to get off the corporate treadmill and build something you actually own? Apply today, and let's discuss the vision.Pay:
$95,000.00 - $120,000.00 per yearWork Location:
