Job Description

Home Lead I - Maintenance Make a Difference with Your Skills At Greencroft Communities, we believe our campuses should feel like home - safe, well-maintained, and welcoming. As our Maintenance Lead I, you'll play a hands-on role in keeping our buildings, equipment, and grounds in top condition while supporting the comfort and safety of our residents and team members.
Schedule:
M-F 8AM - 4
30PM Key duties of this role include but not limited to: Perform and oversee repairs in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and general building maintenance. Complete work orders promptly and in compliance with code standards. Communicate and collaborate with residents and staff to ensure a great experience for everyone on campus. Assist with apartment turnovers, preventative maintenance, and small projects. Respond to calls, including lockouts and emergency situations. Maintain shop supplies and order as needed. Operate golf carts to transport tools and supplies between facilities. Provide seasonal snow removal and assist with event setup and tear-down. Participate in a weekend/evening on-call rotation.
What We're Looking For:
High school diploma or equivalent (required). 1-3 years of general maintenance experience preferred. Skills in plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and carpentry work. Ability to work independently and safely, following maintenance department standards. Good communication skills and a helpful, team-oriented attitude.
