Responsibilities Lead daily classroom activities that promote early childhood development, including literacy education, physical activity, and social skills. Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement strategies to create a respectful and inclusive environment. Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, developmental needs, and classroom experiences effectively. Support special education needs by adapting activities for children requiring early intervention or additional assistance. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Conduct assessments of children's developmental progress through observations and standardized testing when appropriate. Qualifications Proven experience working with infants and toddlers in a childcare or preschool setting. Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles, including Montessori methods and literacy education techniques. Experience in curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management, and behavior management strategies. Familiarity with special education practices, early intervention programs, and child welfare standards. Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Demonstrated ability to create inclusive learning environments supporting diverse learning needs. Certification in early childhood education or related field preferred; relevant coursework or training in childhood development is a plus.
