Be safety conscious on and off duty.
Attend staff meeting and in-service training.
Enforce and adhere to pool rules. Inspects facilities for general cleanliness and completes general cleaning duties.
Provide information to patrons in a respectful and friendly manner.
Must be able to work weekdays, weeknights, weekends, holidays and split shifts.
Must be able to communicate effectively.
Certifications or Licenses RequiredRed Cross or equivalent adult and infant CPR certification and First Aid for the professional rescuer certification. Must complete and pass a lifeguard training class and hold a current lifeguard certification.

- Seasonal JOB Ensures the safety of patrons, including but not limited to: preventing accidents, upholding rules, watching swimmers/patrons at all times.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
(All duties listed may not be included in any one position nor does the list include all tasks found in a position of this class.) Monitoring activities at the pool. Administer first aid and care as required by the professional rescuer. Follow facility emergency action plan. Complete injury reports. Respond quickly and professionally to emergencies.Be safety conscious on and off duty.
