We are seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician who will serve as a field-based expert and support resource for our team of maintenance technicians. A Lead Maintenance Technician acts as the go-to field lead for troubleshooting complex maintenance issues, offering technical guidance for maintenance technicians as well as company clients -homeowners, and ensuring quality work across our vacation rental portfolio. This position plays a critical part in maintaining property standards and solving real-time problems with efficiency and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
Complete maintenance tasks and projects, traveling between multiple worksites each day.

Act as the first point of contact for technicians in the field when they need guidance or help with troubleshooting. Support other maintenance technicians by offering expert help in diagnosing and resolving more complex than usual repair jobs.

Partner with the Operations Manger to share field insights and suggest process improvements. Ensure that repairs and work orders are completed to company quality standards. Assist with high-priority or sensitive maintenance calls involving guest and homeowner concerns. Provide professional, courteous in-person support to guests and homeowners when needed. Participate in rotating on-call schedule for after-hours or emergency maintenance issues. Respond quickly and safely to urgent situations, ensuring minimal disruption to guests. Respond to guest issues (assigned work order) regarding maintenance, as needed including but not limited to:

Appliance troubleshootingCable/Wifi troubleshootingBasic HVAC repairLight plumbingBasic electrical knowledge.

Paint, clean, and troubleshoot repairs inside homes.

Drywall, and basic carpentry skills. Coordinate tasks with third-party service providers.

Evaluate the condition of the vacation rental homes.

Attend all mandatory individual and team meetings.

Other responsibilities as assigned - because every day looks different.
