Job Description

Overview We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Lead Montessori Teacher to inspire young learners and foster a Christ-centered, nurturing, engaging classroom environment rooted in the Montessori philosophy. As a leader in early childhood education, you will guide a team of educators, develop innovative curricula, and ensure each child's developmental needs are met with enthusiasm and professionalism. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the educational journey of preschool and toddler-aged children, promoting their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth through hands-on learning experiences in a loving, Christ-centered environment . Responsibilities Lead the planning and implementation of Montessori-based curriculum that aligns with developmental milestones and educational standards and Biblical alignment. Foster a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity, independence, and respect among children. Supervise and mentor teaching staff, providing guidance on classroom management, lesson planning, and individualized instruction strategies. Collaborate with families to support each child's unique needs, including those requiring special education or early intervention services. Oversee daily classroom activities, ensuring safety protocols are followed and that learning environments are clean, organized, and stimulating. Utilize assessment tools such as standardized testing and observational methods to monitor student progress and inform instruction. Promote inclusive practices that support children's welfare, behavior management, literacy education, math skills, physical education, and overall childhood development. Experience Proven classroom experience in early childhood education or preschool settings with a strong background in Montessori methods. Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development across various domains including literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional learning. Experience working with children requiring special education or early intervention services is highly desirable. Familiarity with classroom management techniques that foster positive behavior and child welfare. Prior leadership or supervisory roles as a lead teacher or educational coordinator are preferred. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with families, staff, and community partners. Understanding that we are a Christian facility and teachers are required to teach and support Biblical lessons and create Christ-centered engagement for children. Knowledge of daycare regulations and teaching physical education is advantageous.
