• Zellwood, FL Full Job Description Foliage Link LLC is seeking a reliable, experienced, bilingual (English/Spanish) Lead Nursery Team Member to help manage the day-to-day operations of our commercial plant nursery.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can take ownership of daily production, lead crews effectively, maintain high plant quality standards, and ensure operations continue smoothly when ownership is off-site. We grow tropical foliage, palms, and ornamental shrubs across 20 greenhouses and outdoor irrigated production areas. We are looking for someone with strong nursery experience, leadership ability, and attention to detail who understands that every plant matters. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in crop spraying, pest management, and nursery chemical applications. Responsibilities Oversee daily nursery operations and crew productivity Assign work tasks and ensure completion of daily production goals Supervise greenhouse and outdoor growing operations Monitor plant health, quality, irrigation, and growing conditions Identify pests, disease, nutritional deficiencies, and production issues Coordinate fertilization, irrigation schedules, and crop maintenance Perform and oversee crop spraying, including fertilizers, pesticides, fungicides, and herbicides Safely handle backpack sprayers, boom sprayers, injectors, and related equipment Ensure crews follow company procedures and maintain quality standards Keep management informed of operational issues, labor needs, and crop concerns Assist with inventory management, shipping preparation, and plant movement Track work completed and ensure team accountability Help maintain an organized, clean, and efficient nursery operation Qualifications Bilingual (English/Spanish)

REQUIRED

Previous nursery, greenhouse, or horticulture leadership experience preferred Experience leading crews and managing day-to-day operations Strong knowledge of tropical foliage, palms, shrubs, and nursery production preferred Experience with crop spraying and agricultural chemical applications strongly preferred Ability to identify plant health issues, pests, and disease Experience operating tractors, forklifts, sprayers, or nursery equipment is a plus Strong organizational and communication skills Reliable transportation

REQUIRED

Strong work ethic and ability to work independently Ability to work outdoors daily in Florida conditions Must be able to lift 35+ pounds and carry backpack sprayers when needed Schedule Monday
