Lead Painter

Overview We are seeking a Lead Painter/Concrete Overlay construction, prefer you have a truck to haul trailer (Gas is paid for by company gas card) to join our construction and renovation team. In this vital role, you will oversee painting & coatings for pool decks, patios, garages and projects across residential, commercial, and industrial sites, ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to safety standards. As a Lead Painter, Concrete Overlay specialist, you will coordinate with Owner, and work alongside a team of 3 to 4 painters, and execute Overlay & painting tasks that enhance the durability and aesthetic appeal of Pool deck concrete, Patios, Garage Floors etc... Your expertise in surface preparation, color application, and finishing techniques will be instrumental in delivering exceptional results on time and within scope. Duties Lead and supervise painting crews on multiple construction sites, ensuring work is completed efficiently, safely, and to client specifications Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion Execute residential, commercial, and industrial painting projects using hand tools, power tools, airless paint sprayers, and other equipment Apply various coatings texture coating knockdown, Seal/Paint in pigmented sealer Conduct quality inspections throughout the project lifecycle to ensure flawless finishes and adherence to color theory principles Maintain a safe work environment by following all OSHA regulations and safety protocols on construction sites Provide mentorship to junior painters by sharing knowledge experience in construction related to painting projects and surface preparation Strong knowledge of color theory for achieving desired aesthetic effects across diverse surfaces Proven ability in residential painting as well as large-scale commercial and industrial painting projects Skilled in the use of hand tools such as brushes, rollers, scrapers; power tools including spray guns and sanders; welding equipment when necessary Strong understanding of construction site safety protocols and OSHA standardsJoin us as a Lead Painter if you're passionate about transforming spaces through expert craftsmanship!
