Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and caring teacher Lead PreK Teacher to join as at God's Gifts Preschool. You will create a safe and nurturing environment for a classroom of 10 children ages 4-5. You will foster a positive learning environment where children can thrive in all areas of development. This position is M-F 8:45 a.m

Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities to promote growth and development of our students.
- Provide a supportive and engaging learning environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and curiosity
- Work cooperatively with Floating Assistant
- Foster positive relationships with children and parents
- Document educational experiences and display children's work in a manner that highlights students learning
- Demonstrates professionalism in conduct, appearance, and practice
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment
- Follow all licensing regulations and adhere to the policies and procedures of the center
Experience:
Minimum 2-3 years experience working with Preschool aged children in classroom setting Applicants applying for the teacher position must be Lead Teacher Qualified according to DCFS guidelines: 60 semester hours (90 quarter hours) of college credits with 6 semester (9 quarter hours) in Early Childhood educationOR :
One year of Early Childhood experience and 30 semester (45 quarter) hours of college credits with 6 semester hours (9 quarter) hours in Early Childhood Education. Education- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (preferred)
- Child Development Associate cedential (CDA)
- Strong organizational skills
- Effective and efficient time management
- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred)
