We are a tight-knit, family-run team that genuinely loves what we do, and we are looking for a Lead Teacher to grow with us. We are currently hiring a reliable, energetic and creative individual to lead our preschool classroom. Mornings are with the older kids, ages 4-5, to focus on kindergarten readiness. Classes combine at lunch time to include up to 24 kids with 2 other staff. Daily duties in both rooms include but not limited to, taking care of children's basic needs - toileting, feeding, resting. Applicant will lead the other staff in lesson planning and classroom management. Daily parent communication via app and in person during drop off and pick up times.Salary:
starting at $19.00 /hour, based on experience/education Responsibilities Plan games and activities that are developmentally appropriate Design a daily and weekly schedule Provide basic care and caregiving activities Evaluate children to ensure they are reaching developmental milestones Communicate with parents and update them on their children's activities Qualifications Previous experience as a daycare teacher or childcare provider (CDA required or currently in progress) Strong understanding of child development Patient, kind, and nurturing Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills First aid/CPR certified (covered by employer)Similar remote jobs
