Job Description

Overview We are seeking passionate and dedicated Lead, Assistant and Support Staff Preschool Teachers to join our educational team. In this role, you will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to providing high-quality learning experiences tailored to the needs of each child.
Requirements:
Candidate is required to produce a Qualifying Letter from NCDHHS or NCDEE. Provide an updated TB Test and a Physical Exam EDU 119 or CDA Credentials Associate's and/or Bachelor's Degree preferred, however not necessary for Support Staff. Duties Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration. Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and respect among students. Assess and monitor children's progress in various developmental areas, including social skills, language acquisition, and motor skills. Collaborate with parents and guardians to support children's learning and development at home. Incorporate diverse teaching methods, including Montessori principles and early intervention strategies, to meet the needs of all learners. Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on best practices in early childhood education. Experience A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred. Experience working in a preschool or early childhood setting is highly desirable. Familiarity with childhood development theories and practices, including special education techniques. Skills in teaching physical education or integrating physical activity into the curriculum are a plus. Knowledge of standardized testing procedures for early learners is beneficial but not required. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues. A genuine love for working with young children and a commitment to their growth and well-being.
