THE ROLE

We are hiring a Property Management Team Lead to run the day-to-day operations of our Property Management department. This is a leadership role that coordinates the full PM engine — leasing, inspections, maintenance, admin/back office — and drives predictable execution across the portfolio. You will report to the Director of Property Management.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Lead daily PM operations and set weekly priorities (owners, deadlines, follow-through). Coordinate leasing activity (vacancy pipeline, lease execution, renewals, turn readiness). Coordinate inspections and maintenance workflows (vendor performance, cycle time, quality control). Partner with administrators and back-office support to keep documentation, billing, and tracking clean. Reduce mistakes and escalations through checklists, SOPs, and consistent accountability. Maintain clear communication and service standards with owners, residents, and vendors. Track a simple weekly scorecard tied to outcomes (turn time, maintenance cycle time, rework, escalations).

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Property management experience with demonstrated operational leadership. Strong organization and time management (you can run multiple moving parts without losing visibility). Clear communicator — short, direct, and decisive. Comfort holding people accountable and course-correcting early. Working knowledge of property management software (Buildium or similar property management software preferred). Valid driver's license required; local travel to properties/vendors as needed. Reliable transportation required. Active New Jersey real estate license required.
