Job Description:
If you are a current Design Engineer who is interested in moving into a Lead Quality Engineer role, this is for you. This position is responsible for supporting large-scale engineering and construction initiatives tied to industrial infrastructure projects. This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on Design Engineer who enjoys cross-functional collaboration and wants to transition into a more project quality and engineering coordination-focused role.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Support engineering project quality initiatives across large-scale industrial projects Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure design quality, technical compliance, and project standards are maintained Review engineering deliverables, documentation, specifications, and quality processes throughout project execution Participate in audits, compliance reviews, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives Help identify project risks, non-conformance trends, and process improvement opportunities Coordinate with project teams, engineering leadership, and stakeholders to maintain quality-focused execution Promote engineering best practices, consistency, and accountability across project teams Support documentation management, reporting, and quality tracking activities
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program required 3+ years of engineering design experience within a relevant engineering environment Experience working within power generation, utilities, EPC, infrastructure, industrial construction, oil & gas, water/wastewater, mining, or related engineering project environments
