Disaster Response, the premier restoration contractor in Idaho, is seeking an experienced Lead Mitigation Technician to join our fast-growing team. We are currently hiring for our mitigation department at our Boise location and are looking for a skilled professional who can take a leading role in overseeing and executing mitigation projects. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to lead a team in a fast-paced, service-driven environment. Position Overview The Lead Mitigation Technician is responsible for managing and performing water removal, structural drying, and mitigation services on residential and commercial properties affected by water, fire, and mold. This role requires the ability to assess damage, create and follow scopes of work, direct technicians, maintain documentation, and ensure projects are completed efficiently and to company standards. What We're Looking For Previous experience in mitigation, restoration, or related construction trades Strong leadership skills with the ability to oversee and train technicians Ability to assess damages and operate mitigation equipment confidently Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities A positive attitude and commitment to exceptional customer service Willingness to respond to after-hours or emergency calls when needed Job Responsibilities Lead mitigation efforts including extraction, demolition, structural drying, and site stabilization Direct and mentor mitigation technicians on job sites Conduct moisture readings, thorough documentation, and equipment tracking Communicate effectively with project managers, homeowners, and insurance representatives Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment Ensure all work meets company standards and industry best practices If you are an experienced mitigation technician ready to take the next step in your career, we want to hear from you.
