Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and experienced Lead Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. As a Lead Server, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional guest experiences by providing outstanding service, guiding our serving team, and ensuring smooth restaurant operations. Your expertise in food and beverage service, combined with your leadership skills, will help create a welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary knowledge, sales abilities, and passion for hospitality in a vibrant, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Lead and motivate the serving team to deliver top-tier guest service, ensuring all guests feel valued and attended to throughout their dining experience Manage table assignments, coordinate service flow, and oversee timely delivery of food and beverages using Square POS system and Resy reservation system Assist with food handling, sanitation, and food safety protocols to maintain high standards of cleanliness and compliance with health regulations Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction while increasing sales revenue Support the onboarding and training of new staff members, fostering a positive team environment focused on hospitality excellence Handle guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure guest relations are prioritized at all times Maintain accurate cash handling and cashiering procedures during shifts, including processing payments via OpenTable or other reservation systems Skills Extensive experience with an App-based POS system such as Square; familiarity with Resy.com is a plus Proven background in fine dining or food industry environments with strong knowledge of food preparation, serving, and food safety standards Excellent time management skills to juggle multiple tables efficiently in a fast-paced setting Strong sales acumen with the ability to upsell menu items confidently while providing exceptional customer service Prior experience in fine dining settings is advantageous Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, billing accuracy, and inventory management Knowledge of sanitation practices, kitchen operations, and food handling procedures Exceptional guest services skills with a focus on building lasting guest relations through attentive service and professionalism Join us to be part of a team where your leadership makes a difference!
