Duties & Skills:

• Ability and willingness to train and supervise electrical apprentices
• Understanding of the wiring and the layout of CommercialPV and ESS components
• Ability to safely work on the roof and on ladders
• Maintain a clean jobsite and a work van
• Working safely with electrical equipment of different voltages and configurations
• Install, maintain, and/or repair electrical systems for commercial solar projects in accordance with local and national electrical codes
• Working with equipment for bending, cutting, pulling, and installation of conduit and wire
• Troubleshooting various systems and components
• Coordinating with electrical inspectors and/or various entities performing required inspections
• Professional, customer-facing, positive attitude
• Analytical thinker with the ability to problem-solve independently
• Ability to travel across the service territory, with potential opportunities to work in other regions
• Ability to navigate technology (laptops/tablets, e-mail, and other job related apps
• Flexibility with working in a residential environment when needed

Requirements:

• Must have a valid 01 Commercial Electrical Journeyman/Journeywoman card
• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to drive a work van
• Must have experience with supervising and training electrical apprentices
• Must be able to read blueprints and construction plan sets
• Must be able to present change orders in an organized manner
• Must have experience with general electrical wiring
• Must have/own power tools

$50.00 - $60.00 per hour
