We are looking for a warm, energetic, and dependable Lead Teacher who is passionate about early childhood education and excited to create a classroom where children feel safe, confident, and inspired to learn every day. What You'll Do Create and lead engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences using play-based and hands-on teaching strategies Foster children's social-emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development Maintain a safe, organized, and nurturing classroom environment Support positive behavior management using redirection, consistency, and developmentally appropriate practices Build strong relationships and open communication with families Observe and document children's growth and developmental progress Collaborate with assistant teachers and leadership to maintain a positive classroom culture Support children with varying developmental needs through individualized learning approaches Ensure compliance with licensing, health, and safety regulations What We're Looking For Experience working with young children in a preschool, childcare, or early childhood setting Strong classroom management and communication skills A patient, positive, and team-oriented attitude Knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practices Experience supporting children with behavioral, developmental, or special needs is a plus CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain) CDA, Associate's, or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred Why Join Humble Beginnings?
