  • Full-time Teacher We are seeking a dedicated, nurturing, and experienced Lead Teacher to join our early childhood education team.
The ideal candidate is passionate about working with young children, demonstrates strong leadership skills, and creates a positive, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment. The Lead Teacher will be responsible for planning and implementing classroom activities, supervising assistant teachers, maintaining open communication with families, and supporting the overall mission and standards of our program. Responsibilities Create and maintain a safe, caring, and stimulating classroom environment Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities Supervise and support assistant teachers and classroom staff Foster positive relationships with children, families, staff members, and visitors Observe and assess children's development and progress Maintain classroom organization and compliance with licensing standards Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and classroom updates Model professionalism, teamwork, and leadership within the school community Accept and implement feedback and guidance from the Management Team Qualifications Teachers shall have achieved 60 semester hours of credits from an accredited college or university , including 6 semester hours in courses directly related to children from 6weeks to age 6 .
Candidates must:
Be at least 19 years old Possess a high school diploma or equivalent Meet ONE of the following requirements: One year of experience in a licensed day care center and 30 semester hours from an accredited college or university, including 6 semester hours in courses directly related to children from birth to age 6 Completion of a Montessori Credential Completion of a credentialing program approved by our Licensing Agency Completion of 26 clock hours of training in child development within the first 6 months of employment (in addition to annual in-service training hours; credential coursework may count) Additional qualifications: Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to relate well to children and adults, including parents, staff members, and visitors Ability to accept differences in teaching styles and personalities among teachers and children Ability to supervise one or more assistant teachers Eligibility to work in the United States Ability to internalize and act upon suggestions and requirements imposed by the
