Lead Teacher

Company Overview Sproutlings Educational Childcare Center is a family-owned childcare center located in New Providence, NJ. Summary We are seeking a passionate full-time, year round Preschool Teacher (2.5-3.5 years old) to join our team at Sproutlings Educational Childcare Center. In this role, you will be instrumental in fostering a love for learning among young children while providing them with the care and support they need to grow. This position is vital to our mission of creating an engaging and educational atmosphere for our students. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote early childhood education. Foster a safe and supportive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Manage classroom behavior effectively to ensure a positive learning experience for all children. Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and any concerns. Encourage social interaction among children to develop their interpersonal skills. Observe and assess children's development, providing feedback and support as needed. Collaborate with other staff members to enhance the educational experience at the center. Requirements CDA/Associate's/Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred. Experience working with young children in an educational setting is highly desirable. Strong understanding of child development principles and early childhood education practices. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively and compassionately.
