As a Lead Technician at our company, you'll spend your time working in homes to lead the installation and integration of the latest in A/V and other automation technology. At a more granular level, your days will consist of the following: Installation, troubleshooting, and programming of audio/video, networking, and automation equipment Running low-voltage wiring Trenching and conduit installation Interpreting engineering schematics Terminating head-end system components Understanding interfaces between control systems and subsystems Mentoring and training junior level technicians as needed When you're not installing systems or managing projects, you'll provide world class service and support to our clients. Whether you're doing installation or service, you'll provide detailed documentation of your work so that anyone on the team can pick up where you left off.Job Requirements:
3+ years in the custom integration industry with experience on varied and complex projects Comprehensive knowledge of residential systems integration including audio/video, lighting, shades, climate control, and networks. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, however; we value emotional intelligence and an aptitude to learn, so do not hold back your resume if you have that and a High school degree or GED equivalent Proven experience with any of the following: Sonos, Lutron, Control4, Savant The ability to read and interpret plans, and install systems according to specifications Some experience in the construction industry; you'll be working alongside builders and subcontractors quite a bit, so it helps if you can speak their language Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Comfortable working on a ladder Reliable transportation and clean driving record A professional appearance at all times Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written.
