Lead Technician / Operations Manager

About Bare Knuckle, LTD Bare Knuckle is a small, established equipment services operation based in Gypsum, Colorado serving commercial clients and government service contracts in the Eagle County area. We have a reputation for reliability, professionalism, and doing the job right the first time. We're looking for someone who takes that same pride in their work and can step into a leadership role running day-to-day operations. The Opportunity Bare Knuckle is looking for a sharp, reliable lead technician with some management experience. This is an opportunity for someone who is ready to step up from a pure technician role into something with more ownership and accountability. There will be a hands-on transition period where you'll work directly alongside the owner to learn the clients, the contracts, the equipment, and the expectations before taking the lead independently. What You'll Be Doing Managing day-to-day service operations for an existing book of commercial clients and a government service contract in the Eagle County area. Performing and overseeing preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on diesel and gasoline-powered equipment and vehicles. Serving as the primary point of contact for clients — scheduling service visits, communicating status updates, and maintaining the professional relationships the business is built on. Managing parts procurement and vendor relationships to keep costs controlled and service timelines on track. Keeping accurate service records and maintenance logs for all client equipment. What We're Looking For Five or more years of experience as a diesel or heavy equipment technician. Some experience in a lead, foreman, or supervisory role — you've managed work and people before, even informally. Strong diagnostic skills across diesel, electrical, gasoline, and hydraulic systems. Someone who is organized, communicates clearly, and takes accountability seriously. Valid driver's license and ability to work independently in the field. Eagle County area preferred.
