Lead Teller - Emmett

Clarity Credit Union is currently looking for a qualified individual to fill the role of full-time Lead Teller at our Emmett Branch to coordinate and oversee all aspects of teller operations within the branch ensuring the daily activities of the tellers are performed in a timely, accurate and courteous manner. Order and conduct cash management duties. Well versed in all branch operational procedures. Good leadership skills and the ability to motivate others are necessary.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

Receives and processes member financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments and merchandise sales as directed. Backs up Member Service Specialist with opening and closing accounts, responds to questions, resolves member problems and cross-sells credit union products and services. Balances cash drawer and daily transactions. Oversees teller staff, assisting Branch Manager with coaching, training and the development of tellers. Assists tellers in solving member problems, serving as an operational reference, aids tellers with researching of outages and balancing problems. Orders daily cash requirement for the branch. Manages/balances vault cash and monitors the maintenance of the ATM services. Is responsible for compliance with established policies and regulations. Answers, questions regarding ALL credit union product offerings. Responsible for maintenance and security of all negotiable instruments housed in the branch. Performs a variety of miscellaneous tasks including typing, filing, computer input and answering the telephone. Assists in maintaining that supplies are in an orderly manner and oversees that supply orders are made when necessary . Performs other work related duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Skills:

Cash handling and/or customer service experience preferred Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality 2+ years' experience as a teller or within banking environment preferred Strong computer skills Impeccable written and oral communication skills High school diploma or GED required Detail-oriented with a mind for numbers Must be bondable

Job Type:

Full-time Pay:

$22.50 - $25.00 per hour
