In this pivotal role, you will combine your veterinary expertise with exceptional leadership skills to oversee daily clinic operations, ensure top-tier pet care, and support our dedicated veterinary team. Your energetic approach will help foster a positive environment where animals and clients feel valued and cared for. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead by example, streamline clinic processes, and contribute to the health and happiness of our animal patients. Duties Supervise and coordinate veterinary technician staff, ensuring high-quality animal care and efficient workflow Manage appointment scheduling, client communication, and clinic administrative tasks with enthusiasm and professionalism Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and treatments by providing animal restraint, catheterization, and handling expertise Maintain accurate medical records, laboratory logs, and imaging reports such as X-ray documentation Oversee inventory management for medical supplies, pharmaceuticals, and pet care products Oversee daily office operations to ensure the hospital runs efficiently, professionally, and profitably Coordinate staff workflows to ensure appropriate coverage and client service Implement aseptic techniques during procedures to uphold safety standards and prevent infections Ensure medical records, invoices, estimates, and related forms are accurate and complete Assist with resolving client concerns in a professional, respectful, and solution-oriented manner Requirements Proven veterinary technician experience with a strong understanding of veterinary terminology, animal physiology, anatomy, and critical care procedures Extensive kennel experience along with dog handling skills Knowledge of laboratory procedures relevant to veterinary medicine as well as X-ray operation experience Ability to handle small animals including dogs and cats with confidence in restraint techniques Strong organizational skills to manage clinic operations efficiently while maintaining a lively and motivating atmosphere Excellent communication skills for client education on pet care topics such as animal husbandry, dental terminology, aseptic technique, and pet training Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff while maintaining a positive team environment This role is ideal for a motivated professional eager to lead a vibrant team dedicated to exceptional animal health care.
