What You'll Do:
Leadership & Workflow Support Act as a working technician across a variety of shifts Help assign daily tech roles to ensure smooth operational flow Provide real-time problem-solving and collaborate with management on escalations Mentorship & Training Offer side-by-side coaching for newer techs in skills such as: Catheter placement, venipuncture, radiology Anesthesia monitoring and surgical preparation Inpatient care and exam room support Promote consistency with protocols and best practices Hospital Maintenance Oversight Ensure treatment and exam areas remain clean, stocked, and organized Monitor equipment or supply needs and communicate with managers Support transitions between shifts and help maintain a steady daily rhythm
What We're Looking For:
Experienced Veterinary Technician Strong clinical skills and confidence in surgery, treatments, and inpatient care Demonstrated leadership or mentoring ability Positive, adaptable, and proactive team member Commitment to Fear Free and high-quality patient care Must be available for some opening, closing, and rotating Saturday shifts (typically once every 3 weeks)
