Cedar Park is seeking a dependable and patient-focused Lead X-Ray Technologist to support a fast-paced outpatient urgent care environment. This role is ideal for an experienced imaging professional who is comfortable working independently, maintaining high imaging standards, and contributing to efficient patient flow throughout the clinic. The Lead X-Ray Technologist plays a key role in supporting providers with timely diagnostic imaging while delivering a positive patient experience in a collaborative clinical setting.
Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and clinic protocols Position patients appropriately and explain procedures clearly and compassionately Maintain image quality standards and ensure accurate patient identification and documentation Follow all radiation safety standards and ALARA practices Support efficient patient throughput in a high-volume urgent care setting Process and prepare images for physician review and radiologist overreads Monitor imaging equipment performance and coordinate maintenance or repairs when needed Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked imaging and clinical areas Collaborate with providers, medical assistants, and front office staff to support clinic operations Assist with additional clinical or administrative support duties as needed during peak patient volume
Qualifications:
