Job Description

The people who move into leadership the fastest usually start by understanding two things first: how to communicate with customers and how to keep a team moving in the same direction. That's what the Leadership Development Assistant role is focused on. Working throughout the Tallahassee market, the Leadership Development Assistant supports AT&T's fiber campaign through direct customer interaction, day-to-day sales activity, and hands-on team development. You'll be learning how outreach works in real time while also developing the ability to coach, organize, and support the people around you. The Leadership Development Assistant isn't separated from the process; you're actively involved in the conversations, the sales activity, and the day-to-day execution that keeps a campaign growing. What the Leadership Development Assistant is involved in: Speaking directly with customers about AT&T fiber and internet services through in-person outreach Learning how customer interactions translate into measurable sales performance Supporting team members during outreach and helping maintain consistency across campaigns Assisting with onboarding and coaching newer representatives as they learn the process Helping track daily sales activity and understanding how performance is measured Working alongside leadership to identify areas where outreach, communication, or sales strategy can improve Staying involved in both customer-facing activity and internal team development What this Leadership Development Assistant role helps you build: Communication skills that work in both customer interaction and leadership settings Experience balancing personal sales performance with team support responsibilities A stronger understanding of how teams stay organized and hit goals consistently Confidence giving feedback, helping others improve, and leading by example What we look for in a
