Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Agent to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing property leasing activities, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining strong relationships with prospective and current tenants. This role requires a keen understanding of property management and the ability to effectively negotiate lease agreements while adhering to Fair Housing regulations. Duties Assist prospective tenants in finding suitable rental properties by providing detailed information about available units. Conduct property showings and open houses, showcasing features and benefits to potential renters. Negotiate lease terms and conditions with prospective tenants, ensuring compliance with company policies and Fair Housing regulations. Manage the leasing process from application through contract signing, including data entry into the OneSite property management system. Maintain accurate records of tenant interactions, applications, and contracts using effective customer relationship management practices. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing tenant inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Collaborate with the property management team to ensure properties are well-maintained and meet tenant expectations. Stay informed about local rental market trends to provide competitive leasing strategies. Skills Strong knowledge of property management principles and practices. Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively. Proficient in data entry and experienced with OneSite or similar property management software. Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in office tasks. Outstanding customer service skills, ensuring a positive experience for all tenants. Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships throughout the leasing process. Familiarity with contract management and understanding of Fair Housing regulations is essential.
