Leather Operator

The Leather Operator is responsible product customization and will use equipment such as the Hot Foil Stamp Machine and Laser Engraver to monogram product, a 4-head machine to embroider product, and a Rivet Machine to affix metal plates to specialty bags.

Responsibilities:

Set up machines; Control and adjust machine settings Inspect parts and test operation of machines periodically Ensure machines runs smoothly, work at capacity, and are appropriately maintained Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws Stands, moves, lifts, and pushes product and boxes, and may use a ladder to complete job duties This is not an intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities, and requirements of this role.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent Working knowledge of hand tools and a manual pallet jack Experience as a machine operator is a plus Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals is required Ability to read, write, and speak English required Adherence to health and safety regulations are required Willingness to work overtime is required
