Legal Assistant

We are seeking a legal assistant to join our New Jersey office. The role will include a variety of responsibilities, including the following: Providing administrative support to the attorneys; Communicating with other law firms, medical offices and experts; Filing pleadings and motions; Assisting with the preparation of correspondence and legal documents, such as discovery demands and responses; and Monitoring deadlines and calendaring dates. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience, preferably handling premises and motor vehicle personal injury matters, as well as the following: Excellent communication skills; Strong organizational skills; Familiarity with New Jersey procedural rules and filing on E-Courts (Pennsylvania experience also a plus); The ability to prioritize and multitask; and The ability to work as part of a team.
