On-Site Position Summary:
The Legal Summer Hire will provide administrative and project-based support to the Legal Department, working closely with the Associate General Counsel and Corporate Paralegal. This role offers hands-on experience in litigation support, contract processes, and legal operations. The Legal Summer Hire will assist with special projects, help maintain department systems and processes, and gain exposure to a broad range of corporate legal matters. This is a temporary, non-exempt position intended for individuals interested in exploring a career in law, legal operations, or corporate compliance.

Accurate and timely completion of assigned tasks and projects Effective organization and maintenance of legal records and files Proactive communication with team members regarding progress and deadlines Demonstrated initiative and willingness to learn new legal processes and tools
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Administrative & Litigation Support Assist with intake, logging, and distribution of legal correspondence, including service of process notifications Support litigation matters by organizing case files, tracking deadlines, and assisting with discovery and document collection Help prepare legal hold notices and maintain related tracking logs. Coordinate notarizations and document legalizations as needed. Contract Support Assist with contract intake, filing, and organization in the company's contract management system. Support the Legal Team by gathering background documents and preparing template agreements. Assist with maintaining contract templates and checklists under the guidance of the Associate General Counsel. Special Projects & Legal Operations Support Assist with special projects that may include research, data gathering, process documentation, and preparation of presentation materials. Support department initiatives such as legal technology updates, policy formatting, or resource organization. Support process improvement initiatives by documenting workflows and creating quick-reference guides. Provide general assistance to the Associate General Counsel, and other team members on ad hoc tasks as assigned.
Qualifications Required:
Currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, an undergraduate program in Legal Studies, Business, Political Science, or related field Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Excellent written and verbal communication skills Work Environment This position works primarily in an office environment using computers and technology. Verbal and auditory capability are required. Occasional exposure in production plant where large equipment and noise are prevalent. Safety gear is required in these areas. This position is onsite at Taco Cranston facility. This position has no direct reports.
