$25-$30 per hour Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Level 1 Behavioral Therapist to join our growing behavioral health team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The ideal candidate will work directly with children, adolescents, or adults experiencing behavioral, emotional, or developmental challenges while supporting individualized treatment plans and positive behavior strategies. This is an excellent opportunity for entry-level candidates pursuing a career in behavioral health, psychology, ABA therapy, mental health services, or special education. Key Responsibilities Provide one-on-one behavioral therapy sessions under clinical supervision Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) Support clients with emotional regulation, communication, and social skills Track client progress and maintain accurate session documentation Collaborate with families, caregivers, and clinical staff Reinforce positive behaviors using evidence-based therapeutic techniques Assist clients in home, clinic, school, or community settings Maintain a safe, supportive, and professional environment Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Associate or bachelor's degree in psychology, behavioral science, social work, education, or related field preferred Experience working with children or individuals with behavioral needs is a plus Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to remain patient, calm, and professional in challenging situations Reliable transportation and flexible availability preferred Preferred Skills Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Experience with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) support Crisis intervention and de-escalation skills Behavioral data collection experience Team collaboration and documentation accuracy Benefits Competitive hourly pay Paid training and professional development Flexible scheduling options Paid time off and holidays Career advancement opportunities Supportive clinical supervision Why Join Our Team?
