Level 1 RN Med/Surg 1st Acute - Contract to Perm (14 Weeks)

Schedule:

Full-Time 3x12s, day/night shift variable, every other weekend, holiday, plus 2 on-call shifts per 4 weeks Position Summary & Responsibilities Provide direct and indirect patient care on Med/Surg 1st Acute unit under NYS RN scope Assess patient needs, develop individualized care plans, and evaluate patient progress Deliver specialized cardiac care, including telemetry monitoring Educate patients and families on self-care, lifestyle changes, and post-discharge care Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality care Maintain infection control, patient safety, and documentation standards Mentor and delegate to other staff as appropriate, promoting teamwork and leadership Participate in quality improvement initiatives and professional development Requirements NYS RN Licensure (Required)

BLS & ACLS

certifications (Required) Minimum 1 year experience as Med/Surg RN #Workwolf
