You'll play a key part in system installations, take on more complex tasks in the field, and guide entry-level team members including Helpers and Level I Technicians. Company Profile Specialized in design/build services for new projects, upgrades, and improvements in commercial, industrial, and multifamily environments, this company is an experienced life safety and security system provider with multiple offices across two states and over twenty years doing business in the Texas market. In addition to new installations, they also provide maintenance, test, and inspection services. This is a growing company with rapid advancement opportunities What You'll Be Doing Install, terminate, and troubleshoot AV systems in commercial environments Pull, route, and manage cabling including audio, video, and control systems Mount and install displays, projectors, speakers, and AV equipment Assist with rack buildouts, device configuration, and system integration Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and installation drawings Work closely with Lead Technicians, Project Managers, and Superintendents Provide guidance and support to Helpers and Level I Technicians Ensure job site safety, cleanliness, and adherence to project timelines What We're Looking For 2+ years of commercial AV, low voltage, or structured cabling experience Strong understanding of AV installation practices and system components Experience with terminations, device installation, and basic troubleshooting Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Comfortable working on ladders and lifts Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic Team-oriented mindset with a desire to advance Your Career Path Starts Here At TradeSTAR, we work with professionals at every stage—from Helpers and Level I, II, and III Technicians to Lead Technicians, Foremen, Superintendents, and Project Managers .
