Aug 1, 2026 Job Description Richmond Elementary School is seeking a full time librarian. We seek a dynamic, energetic individual who loves books and learning, teaching classes to students Preschool through 4th grade on various library skills. Additional responsibilities include the management of our library collection as well as all media and library technology services.

The ideal candidate will:

• Motivate and inspire students to take chances in learning, and to try new things.
• Design and promote learning experiences that celebrate diversity and individual strengths.
• Demonstrate proactive, trauma-informed classroom management strategies.

• Nurture and promote self-discovery, respect, cooperation, and growth mindset in students.
• Develop and maintain collaborative partnerships with families.
• Collaborate effectively and respectfully with colleagues.
• Seek and embrace constructive feedback with the perspective that continuous growth is essential for professional fulfillment.
• Use data and evidence to self-evaluate current practices and to shape classroom experiences to best meet student's needs.
