Job Description
Cornerstone Residence of Fosston is seeking a new Licensed Assisted Living Director! Full-time, Monday through Friday, Flexible Schedule Licensed Director $28 - $33.75/hr.; Unlicensed Director $24-$26.50/hr.
Job Summary:
Manage the operations of Cornerstone Residence. Ensure that the assisted living facility is supported by high quality programs and services which allow residents to live in the most beneficial environment. Direct the organization in such a way that it meets the needs of the residents and complies with and meets the goals of regulatory agencies and the Cornerstone Residence mission. The ALD hires, orientates, and supervises all staff of the assisted living establishment, unless otherwise indicated.Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the overall operations of the facility to ensure smooth, efficient, and resident-focused services. Recruit, hire, orient, and manage on-site staff, fostering a collaborative and caring team environment. Ensure high-quality programming and services that enhance the quality of life for all residents. Maintain compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and practices that reflect the mission of Cornerstone Residence. Collaborate with residents, families, staff, and community partners to meet evolving care needs and build a strong community culture.Qualifications:
Current and unrestricted Assisted Living Director license (BELTSS) or ability to obtain upon hire. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a related position. Valid MN Driver's License.Preferred Skills and Knowledge:
Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local assisted living regulations and landlord/resident laws. Experience working with senior populations. Proven leadership and supervisory skills for managing teams. Ability to develop support services and foster community relationships. Excellent communication skills across all levels—staff, residents, families, and leadership.
