Licensed Barber

Duties Perform professional barbering services including haircuts, shaves, beard trims, and grooming treatments using straight razors and other tools. Deliver expert hair styling and coloring services, applying color theory principles for personalized results. Manage client appointments efficiently using salon software such as MINDBODY or similar platforms to ensure smooth scheduling and record-keeping. Provide specialized services like hair extensions, eyelash extensions, nail care, and makeup application to enhance client satisfaction. Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by thoroughly cleaning tools and workstations in accordance with health regulations. Offer retail sales of hair care products, retail math skills to recommend suitable items, upselling techniques to increase sales, and store management responsibilities. Mentor junior team members by sharing techniques in hair threading, styling tips, and customer service excellence. Handle front desk duties including greeting clients, managing appointments, and answering inquiries with excellent communication skills. Qualifications Valid cosmetology or barbering license issued by the state or relevant licensing authority. Proven experience in hair styling, barbering, and related beauty services with a strong portfolio of work. Knowledge of hair extensions, eyelash extensions, nail care, and makeup application is highly desirable. Familiarity with salon software such as

for appointment scheduling and client management. Strong understanding of sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff. Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients and team members effectively. Ability to perform retail sales confidently through upselling techniques while maintaining a focus on client needs.
