Duties Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address individual patient needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans tailored to each client's condition and goals. Apply specialized modalities like deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other therapeutic techniques to manage pain and improve mobility. Educate clients on self-care practices, occupational health tips, and post-treatment routines to maximize benefits. Maintain detailed documentation of treatments, patient progress, and treatment plans in compliance with medical terminology standards. Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by adhering to all health regulations and sanitation protocols. Provide exceptional customer service by listening attentively, answering questions clearly, and creating a relaxing atmosphere that encourages repeat visits. Experience Proven experience as a Licensed Massage Therapist with a strong background in patient service and assessment. Familiarity with physiologic principles, human anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy. Hands-on expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques. Previous work in a med spa or occupational health setting is highly desirable. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with diverse clients. Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with ongoing commitment to professional development in massage therapy practices.
