In this role, you will deliver exceptional massage therapy services that promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being for our diverse clientele. Your expertise in various massage techniques will help clients achieve their health and relaxation goals. Duties Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage, swedish massage and other modalities tailored to individual client needs Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and identify areas of concern or discomfort Educate clients on self-care practices to support ongoing wellness Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all clients by adhering to sanitation standards and spa protocols Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and continuing education requirements to enhance skills and service quality Skills Strong client service orientation with excellent communication skills Proficiency in client assessment and understanding of physiology related to massage therapy Expertise in deep tissue massage and Swedish massage techniques Knowledge of human anatomy relevant to therapeutic massage Ability to provide compassionate customer service while maintaining professional boundaries Familiarity with occupational health principles and injury prevention strategies Previous experience working in a spa or similar wellness environment is highly desirable
