Licensed Massage Therapist

Responsibilities Perform professional massage therapy sessions including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address clients' specific needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to develop customized treatment plans that optimize health outcomes. Educate clients on self-care techniques and recommend appropriate therapies for ongoing wellness. Maintain detailed records of treatments, client progress, and health history in compliance with privacy regulations. Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming treatment environment adhering to all health and safety standards. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals or medical staff when necessary to support comprehensive patient care. Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and continuing education requirements to enhance your skills. Requirements Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with current certification to practice legally. Proven experience in patient service, with strong skills in patient assessment and customized treatment planning. Expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques. Solid knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients in a professional manner. Familiarity with occupational health principles and med spa environments is preferred.
