Responsibilities Perform professional massage therapy sessions including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy tailored to each patient's needs Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and identify areas of concern Apply pain management techniques effectively, utilizing your knowledge of physiology and anatomy to target specific issues Educate patients on self-care practices and post-treatment recommendations to support ongoing wellness Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, patient progress, and medical terminology in compliance with healthcare standards Ensure a safe, comfortable environment by adhering to occupational health protocols and sanitation practices Provide exceptional customer service by listening attentively, addressing patient questions, and fostering a welcoming atmosphere Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with current certification in good standing Proven experience in patient service, with a focus on therapeutic massage modalities such as deep tissue and trigger point therapy Strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and pain management Prior experience working in med spas or similar healthcare settings is highly desirable Excellent communication skills with the ability to assess patient needs accurately and explain treatment options clearly Knowledge of occupational health standards and safety procedures for clinical environments Passion for promoting health, wellness, and customer satisfaction through professional massage therapy Embark on a rewarding career where your skills make a difference!
