Duties Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other modalities tailored to individual client needs Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and identify areas of concern Educate clients on self-care practices, post-treatment routines, and injury prevention strategies Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, patient progress, and treatment outcomes in compliance with healthcare regulations Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by adhering to sanitation standards and clinic policies Collaborate with physical and occupational therapist to support comprehensive pain management and overall health initiatives Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and continuing education requirements to enhance your skills Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification to practice legally in the jurisdiction Proven experience in patient service environments, especially within med spa or healthcare settings preferred Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy Skilled in patient assessment, pain management strategies, and applying targeted techniques such as trigger point therapy and deep tissue massage Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with clients of diverse backgrounds Familiarity with occupational health principles and the importance of workplace wellness programs Prior experience working in a med spa or similar setting is highly desirable Embark on a rewarding career where your expertise makes a real difference!
