Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) to join our growing team. If you are passionate about helping others find balance, relief, and renewal, we'd love to hear from you. Our philosophy is rooted in holistic healing, blending therapeutic bodywork with intentional wellness practices to help clients move, breathe, and feel better. We integrate a variety of somatic techniques—from myofascial release to craniosacral therapy and lymphatic movement—providing truly personalized treatments.
Responsibilities:
Determine individual needs and tailor massage sessions accordingly. Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to apply appropriate techniques for pain relief and relaxation. Provide a variety of therapeutic and specialty massage techniques. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the massage studio, ensuring a tranquil, professional space. Provide excellent customer service by creating a welcoming environment for clients and addressing any concerns they may have. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments or self-care practices as needed. Uphold professional standards in patient service while maintaining confidentiality in all client interactions. Manage the guest journey from checking them in to checking them out Qualifications Valid Maine Massage Licensure is required. Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy is essential. Experience with pain management techniques and familiarity with spa environments is preferred. Ability to customize sessions based on client needs, comfort levels, and therapeutic goals. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-centered approach. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated. Strong communication skills.
