Licensed Massage Therapist- Mobile

Locally owned mobile massage business seeking additional LMT to join the team! Seeking a candidate eager to provide services at corporate work sites, offering chair and table services in SLC, Holladay and Lehi locations. The role may also require working parties or events. This is a rare opportunity for major growth in a small business as we are seeking to expand our offerings and services at said corporate sites. The ideal candidate delivers a personalized massage that helps to reduce common aches and pains from sitting at a desk all day, offers a tailored solution and treatment plan, and promotes a feeling of relaxation and stress reduction. This is a 1099 contract role with fixed days needed(Wednesday in Lehi or Holladay, Thursdays in Salt Lake)

Duties :

Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address clients need. Proficiency in therapeutic, deep tissue massage as well as chair massage is a must for this role Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual needs, preferences and health conditions before treatment. Educate client on self care techniques and wellness stratagies to support health goals. Analyze and assess if client would benefit from additional therapies such as cupping, hot stone, MLD, etc.. Ensure a safe, hygienic environment- wiping down equipment, washing hands, reducing contact with blanket/hardware in the room. Manage scheduling efficiently to maximize client satisfaction and ensure timely service delivery. Maintain extensive knowledge anatomy (origin and insertion), physiology and current massage therapy techniques. Have reliable transportation (required). Provide table with clean and sanitized sheets, table warmer, blanket and your own lotion. Having a chair is a great perk, but not necessary. Manage your schedule while on site as well as take payments after the service. Training on the table or chair may be required. We are required to perform services at the highest level. Keep professional liability insurance and license up to date

Skills :

Excellent oral and written communication skills. Proven ability to perform comprehensive patient assessment and tailor treatments accordingly. Expertise in deep tissue, Swedish and therapeutic massage. Other modalities like sport, prenatal, and energy work are a plus. Must be able to comfortably and confidently use a massage chair and massage table. Previous management experience is highly desirable. Self motivated and ability to work independently with a proactive attitude while maintaining professionalism. Assess schedule and arrive early in order to set up treatment room. Begin and end sessions on time. 3+ years experience as an LMT prefered. However, if it is a good fit, we are willing to train the right person.
