Job Description

We are seeking a Licensed Medical Aesthetician to join our established plastic surgery and medical aesthetics practice in Morristown, NJ. This role is ideal for a motivated, patient-focused professional who is passionate about skin health, advanced treatments, and delivering exceptional patient experiences within a collaborative medical environment. This is a commission-based part-time position with a future opportunity for full-time. Qualifications & Experience High school diploma required Valid New Jersey Skin Care Specialist License (NJ State Board of Cosmetology and Hairstyling) Minimum two years of experience working as an aesthetician in a medical office or clinical setting Strong knowledge of skin health, elective aesthetic treatments, and professional skincare products Skills & Attributes Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities Highly organized with attention to detail Team-oriented and collaborative mindset Empathetic and respectful toward patients and colleagues Professional, dependable, and patient-centered Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient consultations and develop customized skincare treatment plans Educate patients on home care, product usage, and treatment expectations based on individual skin needs Recommend appropriate products and services to help patients achieve their aesthetic goals Perform a range of advanced aesthetic treatments, including but not limited to: manual extractions, chemical peels, dermaplaning, Hydrafacial, microneedling, VirtueRF microneedling, and other skin resurfacing modalities. Collaborate closely with other providers and seek physician supervision as required by treatment protocols Communicate with patients regarding treatment plans, follow-up care, and product recommendations Work collaboratively across departments (injectables, medical weight loss, plastic surgery, etc.), exercising sound clinical judgment to recommend complementary or alternative treatment options that optimize patient outcomes Maintain accurate, thorough patient medical and treatment records using an Electronic Medical Record system (Nextech) Ensure treatment rooms, equipment, and work areas meet OSHA and manufacturer standards Monitor and maintain aesthetic equipment according to guidelines Participate in staff meetings and continuing education programs Manage inventory tracking for professional back-bar products and supplies Maintain active licensure in compliance with New Jersey regulations What We Offer Supportive, team-oriented medical environment Opportunity to work alongside experienced board-certified plastic surgeon and providers Access to advanced technology and treatment modalities Ongoing education and professional development If you are a licensed medical aesthetician who values quality care, collaboration, and continued growth, we encourage you to apply.

$35,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
