This vital role involves providing comprehensive mental health services to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. As a licensed professional, you will deliver evidence-based therapies, conduct diagnostic evaluations, and develop personalized treatment plans to empower clients on their journey toward mental wellness. Your expertise will help foster a supportive environment where clients feel heard, understood, and motivated to achieve positive change. We are looking for clinicians who are dependable, driven, emotionally intelligent, and serious about the work they do. We are seeking therapists who want consistency, stability, and the opportunity to grow within a structured clinical environment. Duties Conduct thorough intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to accurately identify client needs. Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions employing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Implement crisis intervention strategies and crisis management techniques to ensure client safety during emergencies. Provide specialized counseling for issues including grief, addiction, PTSD, gender identity, developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), chronic pain, and behavioral challenges. Maintain detailed medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations while utilizing medical terminology effectively for accurate record-keeping. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for case management and coordinate care plans tailored to each client's unique circumstances. Engage in clinical research activities and data collection to support ongoing program improvements and evidence-based practices. Comfortable working in a structured office environment Able to work independently while also functioning well within a team environment Seeking a long-term professional opportunity rather than temporary supplemental work Skills Extensive experience in psychotherapy techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, and psychopharmacology. Proficiency in motivational interviewing and crisis management to motivate clients toward positive outcomes. Strong background working with children, adolescents, individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD), geriatrics, and special education populations. Knowledge of ICD coding systems (ICD-9/ICD-10) for accurate diagnosis documentation. Skilled in intake procedures, medical documentation, medical terminology, and HIPAA compliance for patient confidentiality. Experience with telehealth platforms as well as in-person outpatient clinical settings. Ability to handle complex cases involving trauma (PTSD), grief counseling, addiction recovery, gender issues counseling, and chronic pain management. Competence in group therapy facilitation and behavior management strategies across diverse client populations. Familiarity with inpatient settings or hospital experience is a plus for comprehensive patient care understanding.
