Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact on student communication and academic success by providing speech-language services to elementary, middle, and high school students. This contract opportunity is suited for a certified and licensed Speech-Language Pathologist who is passionate about empowering learners and thrives in a collaborative educational environment. Your expertise will support diverse student populations, enhancing speech, language, and social skills while working closely with teachers, families, and staff. From crafting individualized plans to implementing evidence-based interventions, your contributions will be vital for students' growth and confidence.
What you bring:
Active Speech-Language Pathology licensure Certification for practice within educational settings Proven experience or comfortable working across elementary, middle, and high school levels Solid command of assessments, treatment planning, and case management Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and organizational skills Dedication to fostering inclusive, supportive learning environments Key responsibilities: Evaluate students' speech, language, and communication needs using a range of assessment tools Develop and implement tailored Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Deliver direct therapy services in both group and individual formats Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress Document and monitor student outcomes, progress, and adjustments to therapy plans Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for classroom accommodations Stay current with best practices and compliance standards in school-based SLP services By choosing this contract role, you gain the flexibility to focus your skills where they're needed most, all while shaping brighter educational outcomes.
