In this vital role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure the delivery of exceptional resident care, and maintain compliance with all regulatory standards. Your leadership will foster a compassionate environment where residents receive personalized care that enhances their quality of life. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and individuals with developmental disabilities while managing a dedicated team of healthcare professionals. Duties Provide strategic leadership to ensure smooth daily operations of the nursing home or assisted living community. Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive care plans tailored to each resident's needs, including memory care, Alzheimer's, and dementia-specific services. Supervise staff members across various departments, including nursing, social work, and home & community care teams, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to long-term care, Medicare/Medicaid requirements, and licensing standards. Manage budgets effectively, including financial planning, resource allocation, and expense oversight to maintain operational efficiency. Oversee medication administration processes to guarantee safety and adherence to prescribed treatments. Coordinate with families, healthcare providers, and community resources to support residents' well-being and social engagement. Lead quality assurance initiatives by monitoring resident outcomes, conducting audits, and implementing continuous improvement strategies. Maintain accurate documentation for all residents' records, care plans, incident reports, and regulatory compliance reports. Skills Proven experience in nursing home administration or senior care management. Demonstrated leadership skills with supervisory experience managing multidisciplinary teams in long-term environments. Excellent operational management skills including budgeting, financial acumen, and resource planning. Familiarity with medication administration protocols and compliance standards for healthcare facilities. Strong understanding of home & community care practices as well as home care services integration. Ability to work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities and provide compassionate senior care solutions. Exceptional communication skills for engaging residents' families, staff members, and external partners effectively.
