Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with patients to help them regain independence and improve their quality of life. Your expertise in case management, occupational health, and patient care will be essential in providing effective therapy services.Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate patients' physical, mental, and emotional capabilities
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on patients' goals and needs
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve patients' motor skills, coordination, and daily living activities
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
- Educate patients and their families on adaptive techniques and equipment to enhance independence
- Monitor and document patients' progress throughout the therapy process
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in occupational therapy techniques and research
Skills:
- Case management: Ability to effectively manage patient cases and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals
- Occupational health: Knowledge of occupational health principles and practices to promote wellness in the workplace
- Acute care: Experience working in acute care settings, such as hospitals or rehabilitation centers
- Physiology knowledge: Understanding of human anatomy and physiology to tailor therapy interventions accordingly
- Patient service: Strong commitment to providing exceptional patient service and promoting their well-being
- Patient care: Ability to deliver compassionate and individualized care to meet patients' unique needs
- Medical imaging: Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and their relevance in occupational therapy
Hospital:
Experience working in a hospital setting, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams- Medical terminology: Proficiency in medical terminology to accurately communicate with healthcare professionals
